In a traumatic motorcycle accident 11 years ago I flew over 200 feet, fractured my elbow, and had to be resuscitated.  I ended up in a coma for two months all while I was in my freshmen year of college. I was flown to Chicago where I received rehabilitation.

pj6I was shot execution style in the head, chest, neck, and abdomen by a man now convicted of first-degree murder. Even though I lived by jumping out of the window I now suffer from short-term memory loss, seizures, and headaches.  Parts of my scull was removed and replaced with a metal plate that has been replace once already due to infections.

Early April I passed out while driving because of a mini stroke.

My life has changed so much, I can’t really do things regular people take for granted. I have to do dialysis three times a week, which is very tiring and time consuming.  It would be very nice to build relationships with others who understand, because until you been through something like this you can relate well.
